Before you send me a message to inquire about the availability about puppies, please read the following and explore the other links on this page as well.
I don't breed very often so a large amount of patience and perseverance is required on your part, if you wish to have one of my puppies. Usually they are spoken for as soon as I know what is available.
If you want to be considered as a potential owner of one of my puppies, you need to be prepared to
- fill out an extensive questionnaire and provide references
- agree to the terms of my sales contract
- come and pick up your puppy in person - I do not ship.
To give you an idea of the distance you would have to travel, I live in southern Ontario (Canada) four hours from Buffalo, NY, six hours from Detroit, MI and twelve hours from Washington, DC.
- agree to do some genetic tests on your puppy.
The above applies equally to pet and show potential puppies. If you agree to everything listed above, then by all means, do contact me and we can proceed from there.
I would also like to mention that it is not easy to get a female. The reason is simple, really. The average Pug litter is 4-5 puppies. If half of those are girls that means 2-3 puppies. When I breed I do so with an eye on keeping something myself. And that 'something' is 9 times out of 10 going to be a female. You can see that there isn't going to be many puppies of the fairer sex left over to distribute to others. If you have browsed through the puppy pages, you might have noticed that there are many people who do have females from me. Except for a few cases, all of those girls were sold when they were at least five months old. The pups I decide to keep for myself don't always turn out the way I would like and so they become available to someone else, but at an older age.
My breeding stock is screened for eye problems, patellar luxation, and hip dysplasia. All puppies, before leaving here, have had their eyes and knees checked. None of my dogs have had demodectic mange or allergies. I take the health of this breed very seriously and expect my puppy buyers to do likewise.
I do not refer other breeders. If you want to find a breeder closer to you please try these links:
